Last days in India

This is definitely the last Post from India.
Yesterday, in Goa, we met a teacher who had a pre-school near the beach. Being Saturday there were only a few kids, but it was good fun, they had only a few toys which were donated by tourists and teachers who come back year after year, pity it was our last day in Palolem.

Guess who…?
Adivina quien…?

A couple of local peseant women Prema and Lakshmi:

Quene goes back to school!:

Here’s a few dogs taking it easy on the beach in Goa:

This morning we arrived in Bombay (or Mumbai as it’s now called) where we spend our last day in India. From here we catch our flight to Hong Kong (via Bangkok). TOday, SUnday, was very quiet, hardly any traffic, unlike Delhi which was pure chaos, you could even be forgiven for thinking you weren’t in India, with all the skyscrapers lining the seafront! You can see Bombay is where the money is, being the business and commercial heart of India.

So with a big Namaste from India we leave the great Subcontinent of India!
And we will definitely come back, some day!

All the best, next post from Hong Kong in a few days…
Hugs and kisses,
James & Quene

Espanol:

Enhorabuena. Tienes ya un cuadernillo?

    Hey Guys,
I’ll be back in NZ late January and I’ll be here until the end of April sometime. I think I’ll be making my way home in May through North and South America, after that I’ve pretty much no idea where I’ll end up, it could be down here again, could be OZ, Canada or home. Have you talked to Al Byrne about his plans. He was talking about trying to get over there around the same time as you peeeops :). The world rugby sevens are on the weekend 3-5 FEB in wellington, its usually mad, people get into fancy dress its brill, I’ve got an 8ft tall blue and orange giant chicken outfit sorted already for the games ;).

Hello from Hong Kong ..!! compare with India is like walking into the future.
Agus and Calenco , I coudn’t find the cuaderno , we were in Bombay on Sunday and the were not shops open , I wanted to buy this and more and send it to Piedade and her kinds in the school but no luck.
I will try to send one of this books to colour from here , lets see if I can find something cheap in the markets.
Hong Kong is incredible is like the film Blade Runner but without the rain, we havent found a proper cibercafe yet , this is courtesy of the hotel where we are staying in, Larry, Monica’s brother is putting us up for a few days (thanks Larry!) . We are going to visit the school where he is teaching english on Friday.
So we will post nice pics soon
    Richie ,
I can’t wait to see you with the chicken outfit , and I am sure we are going to have a great time
    Esp

HI REBECA AND THE MURPHYS, LOVE FROM SPAIN.

Anotad aquí, si podeis, palabras en chino. Ya sabemos el saludo hindú, Namaste.

Y siempre Shalom, the best Shalom over you.
