Wednesday, July 6th, 2005

Although I have many ideas for this coming year, I am a procrastinator and will undoubtedly change some of these plans at the last minute. While I haven’t commited to anything yet (other than Hawaii), here are my tentative plans for the next year:

August ’05 – Wilderness First Responder Course Flagstaff, AZ

September-October ’05 – Spanish Course and Healthcare Volunteering Argentina

November ’05 to March ’06 – Nanny for Twin 3 Year Old Boys at a B & B Waimea, Hawaii

April-May ’06 – Volunteering at an Orphanage through Kids Worldwide Mwanza, Tanzania

June ’06 – Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro Tanzania

June-July ’06 – Travelling around Southeast Asia Thailand, Maybe Laos/Malaysia & Others

July ’06 – Visiting Cousin & Travelling North Island, New Zealand

About me!

Wednesday, July 6th, 2005

Hey everyone!

Well, where to start… I’m a 17 year old recent high school grad from a small private school in Pasadena, California (Near Los Angeles for those of you who don’t know it). I’ve been accepted to Washington University in St. Louis but have chosen to defer my enrollment there until the Fall of 2006 so that I can travel the world!

I’m interested in healthcare, chilren’s welfare and international relations, and I’m hoping to explore some of these interests next year. I’m going to be buying a round-the-world ticket soon, and will be travelling on a pretty tight budget. I plan on doing some language courses, volunteering, and general travel/sightseeing over the course of the year. I’ll give you a more detailed idea of my plans for the year in a separate post. I hope you enjoy reading about my year!
