98 Days

So really what the hell am I thinking? I’ve decided to pack up my belongings into a backpack that will not fit nearly enough of what I want to take and move halfway around the world for a year..maybe longer? We’ll see. To ensure ZERO backing outage I have bought my plane ticket one-way and am heading out of Toronto at 8:15 p.m. on the 22nd of November. I land in LA at about 11 p.m. and then its LA for 6 days to live the good life with Renee, a close friend of mine. She aspires to be an actress, and yeah I guess you can say she can act..but really shes a floozy, so the casting couch roles are going to be prime for her. Kidding Tapette, I love you. After the 6 days of playing on Venice Beach and the Hollywood Walk of Fame and whatever else we manage to do its Thailand Time!! LA to Taipei to Bangkok. Really now though, what the hell am I thinking? I ponder this question on a daily basis. I can barely remember to brush my teeth every morning let alone be able to remember everything while travelling halfway around the world solo. I know this trip will make me more responsible and mature and give me that life experience that I need. I’m sure it will be interesting and I’ll post my super stories and pictures up here so all my faithful readers can be envious of my life in beautiful Thailand. The plan is to teach english to make some cash flow while I’m down there, but depending on my money situation I may hold out on that for a couple months and just travel the wonderful country. I also plan on going down to Phuket (one of the areas where the Tsunami hit) to help out wherever I can, be it orphanage work or rebuilding I guess I’ll see what I can do, if anything, while I’m down there. To add to those two on my “List to Do” there is also a few other things I would love to do while in Thailand..they are Muay Thai Boxing..Full Moon Parties..shopping on Khao San Road..experiencing the beautiful scenery, food and culture..meeting other backpackers..getting put into a prison for life after someone illegally puts drugs in my bag..I can not wait. Anyways lovelies..lovelys? I don’t know..It’s lovelies I just spellchecked it..I’ve had enough writing for one day..plus I’m at work, and at work I think I am supposed to be doing work, not posting on my travel blog so I’m off and I’ll post soon! I know you can’t wait to read what I post..and you’ll all cling to every last syllable of every word..yearning for more..ok thats enough. Bye! 🙂
