Day 35, Last day in Cambodia
5/10/05,Today the weather has been fantastic, caught loads of sun….
Cathy left this morning as she meets a friend in Vietnam tonight, we all leave 2moro morning and are all meeting up 2moro night.
Today the 3 of us blasted around Phnom Penh again on our bikes taking in the Russian Market. I bought a great G-Shock watch for $5 which in England goo for over 100 pound, quality….
First run in with Cambodian police today, we rhode upto 5 officers to ask for directions to be told we went 2 meters down a one way street to get to them although we had not even passed the one way sign. I was not in the mood to take any shit, they wanted $10 each bike, I said no and played my face, they all got angery and started talking to oneanother in Cami. I got on my bike and said I was going and we had not done anything wrong and left. It was ok but Mat was stuck there. I parked up at a petrol station over the road and headed back on foot to sort out. After a few choice words and the police realising we aint mugs and am not getting our wallets out they pulled faces and waved Mat and Steph on….. All fun and games.
Tonight we have bought Tomb Raider to watch followed by the film The Killing Fields, Both apt while we are here.
Leaving at 6.30am by bus and should be in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam by 4.30 pm same day.
