Vodka: Connecting People
As “Same Same But Different” is the ubiquitous t-shirt phrase in Thailand, “Vodka: Connecting People” is the ubiquitous phrase in Russia. On our first overnight train journey from St. Petersburg to Moscow we discovered why. Actually, most of these people were sober until they met Annette. It was good times until we had to stumble off the train at 6:00am and wait for 7 hours to board the Trans-Siberian. Then it was a lot less fun.
