Hello and welcome to my Travel Blog.
I’ve never blogged before so i am sure that there will be a learning curve during the first few posts so bare with me.
In December 2011, I will be going on a backpacking trip through Europe. I only have 2 weeks to make this trip so a lot is going to packed in to a small amount of time. I just hope that i will not be too overwhelmed once i get there. The estimated dates of travel will be Dec 1-16, however at this point the dates are flexible to a certain extent. The rough draft of my travel schedule is:
Glasgow – 2 days
Edinburgh – 2 days
London – 3 days
Amsterdam – 3 days
Brussels – 2 days
Paris – 3 days
I have lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada my entire life, and if anyone from here reads this they will most likely be able to relate. I was going over my schedule and i was was trying to decide if i was crazy for deciding to travel to 2 different cities within Scotland in 4 days. I am okay with it now, once i realized that Glasgow and Edinburgh are only 1 hour apart. The closest “cities”, yes cities not towns to Winnipeg are all 45 minutes to 3 hours from Winnipeg so once i realized this, i have no worries at all switching cities, well except for maybe not being able to see as much of the city as i would like.
