Well, as long as I'm on the topic of obnoxious photos, here's one from a side trip to Lisbon about 3 years ago.

First of all, for anyone going to Lisbon: If you're in the old City Center, be prepared to have someone try to sell you Hashish about every 15 seconds. Other than that, it's a lovely - if a bit sleepy and run down - town (even lovelier if you like cheap Hash I suppose).

I have no idea who thought this sculpture was a good idea. Probably the same guy who designed the Williamsburgh Savings Bank building in Brooklyn.
