November 04, 2004I would! I would!
I just wanted to share this video with everyone. I posted it a long time ago before I even left on this trip, but now that I´ve been on the road for a while, I thought I´d post it again. It was made by my e-friend and fellow traveler, Erik Trinidad, who has been on his own Global Trip for over a year now. Admittedly, traveling is not ALWAYS fun, and there are some times when I´ve been tired of: being on the road all the time, packing and unpacking everyday, wearing the same clothes, not being able to have the food I want, always having to look at a map to figure out where I am (those who know me KNOW my pathetic sense of direction), credit card companies repeatedly putting a hold on my card even though I warned them several times I was going to be overseas, missing birthdays and weddings, etc etc... I´ve watched this video at those times when I´ve felt like that, and it has always helped to put this whole trip back in perspecitve, and remind me how fortunate I am to have the opportunity to experience an adventure like this! And then I quit whining... MUST be viewed with sound! ENJOY! When the video is over, it will redirect you to Eriks blog, which is definately worth a read. Comments
