September 14, 2004The Last Supper
We had our final dinner in the USA for the forseeable future on Sunday September 12th. My brother Karl and his wife Jessica were generous enough to not only host the event in their home, but also prepared a delicous meal of grilled cod with mango salsa over polenta. My mom, my grandmother, my brother Jack and his wife Emily, Lisa´s sister Laura and our friend Maria were all there to give us a send off to remember. I just want to take this moment to express our sincere love and grattitude to our families for all of your love and support over the years and especially in these last several weeks. We both understand that it is not an easy thing to see your loved ones take off for points unknown around the globe. But even if you have questioned our sanity at times we have never questioned your love for us. PLease know that despite the distance that seperates us we would not be the same without all of you, and truly we carry you with us everywhere we go. We love you all - thank you for your sustaining love and prayers. Comments
