A lot of people keep asking, "so where are you going first?" Hopefully this will help answer that question. We have booked our first few nights of lodging in Quito, but otherwise a lot of it is intentionally open-ended. We learned that it will be a lot cheaper to buy flights around South America once we are there which is why you only see a flight to Ecuador and a flight out of Chile a few months later.
