February 28, 2004What I've Been Seeing
I thought of instead of writing about what I've been up to, I thought I'd throw up some pictures because my descriptions are not going to cut it. These first few are a of critters I've encountered: I've also got kangaroos and emus, but they aren't as exciting.... Next, we have some of the many sunrise/sunsets I've witnessed. Here is a photo of Uluru, a sacred meeting place of the Aboriginals. A scene next to inland salt water Lake Eyre.
This guy wanted to come on the bus. We were desperate for food as you can see here. Strange old vehicles are all over the desert.

Hey, beautiful pictures. You sure are good. Love the lizzie lizard. Posted by: Dusty on February 29, 2004 10:30 AMI agree. Great shots. Maybe you can give me some tech help... b/c I can't shoot the sky. The camera wont focus and in low-light I can't use the viewfinder to aim either. Any suggestions? Hey, btw... I ran into our cameron highlands cutie on Adriatico Street in Manila! Posted by: Helga on February 29, 2004 05:27 PMHelga, See if your cam has settings like lanscape (usually a little mountain) and low light or nighttime (usually a moon or a star in a dark sky). That way it knows what sort of surroundings you are in. Dusty, The lizards were my favs as well. :) Posted by: Claudia on March 1, 2004 02:02 AMTalk about some funky critters. Gorgeous sun pics too hun. Nice reds. Everyone here has been ordering me to do some shooting in China. I can hardly believe THAT trip's only a month and a half away! Posted by: Ant on March 1, 2004 08:14 AMAny of these lee-zards jump on your chest, like their Indian cousins? Posted by: Ant on March 1, 2004 11:52 AMNope, these lizards kept to themselves. They were too busy sunning theselves! Posted by: Claudia on March 2, 2004 06:45 PM |
