5 days to go
stuck in an internet cafe on dame street – its grey and dark outside. This is why I am leaving
Pretty much ready to go at this stage.
Tickets are bought, visas have been acquired, shots(medical) have been administered (we’ll sort out the other kind of shots over the next two nights dave!!!). So in 5 days time I will be in switzerland, it’ll be weird I am sure. Have really been feeling the nerves more and more in the last few days, its kinda hard to put down into words. India is a daunting prospect. Everywhere you read about it, everyone you listen to about describe in such dramatic terms! Even the bloody dentist this morning after administering the local anastetic which is only just wearing off now told me the story of his friend who lost 2 and half litres of blood in a dehli bar just a week ago, sure enough phil with his numbed up lip mouthed the word fuckin hell, I’m sure the resultant slobber that ran down his numb cheek oozed class and sophistication. But It was gotten to the stage where I just don’t wanna take peoples word for it any more, I want to see it for myself.
