So – Sunday – quiet day generally. We close early at 11pm. Except when our owner’s horse wins fairystown at 3:1. 5 hours and 9 drinks after closing…
Anyways, I woke up drunk this morning, so I can’t actually post, as I am running quite late, but the party last night was fantastic. Orla told me stories about her grandfather’s IRA days, Pat went on and on about what it was like to have a horse win like that (he was oddly adorable all night), and we had a big old dance party with bee gees and riverdance. Insane.
Also – Ross will be coming with me for a week round England, and my dad has a new place on one of the best streets in Pacifica – I really like it down there. And it’ll be a shop too – a bookstore with a cat in the window! 🙂
