Party and work

I am totally exhausted. Work was busy Friday, and we had to clean almost all the shelves after work, so I didn’t get out till 3:30, and Saturday was CRAZY and I didn’t get home till quarter till 5. Saturday the kitchens mixed up a bunch of orders, so John yelled at me (because clearly – that is MY fault). Blech. Last night was much, much better. Very calm and good people on. Watched the end of Lost yesterday (so good! But its getting to the point where I can barely remember all the threads the story has going at this point). Saw Pretty Persuasion and American Dreamz.

Oh right! The party! (I watched American Dreamz as mindless entertainment the morning after). Thurdsday night was awesome (except for Hayden had food poisoning and couldn’t come). We went to a pretty good thai place (the only down side was the seating), Soba, then an Aussie bar, which became the RCSI bollywood night, and then we went to Whelans – which I LOVED! It played awesome music and was filled with the Dublin hipster/rock crowd. Awesome. I am definitely going back.
Anyways – what it comes down to is that I haven’t had a proper nights sleep since Wednesday. I’ll catch up tonight (I would have done alright last night, except Lena opened the window in our room, despite Dublin’s gales which then knocked down our shades practically on top of my head. Woohoo.) I can’t wait for Tuesday. Despite liking sunday’s shift, I hate working 4 days in a row… I seem to get so behind on everything.

I am desperately missing my Christmas music. I really, really want to hear the SFGC version of Veni, Veni Emmanuel. *sigh* Oh well – only a couple weeks till Christmas, right?

The party was awesome and Whelan’s was awesome, but HOW awesome? Like a hot dog?

Re: Christmas music, I can send you CDs, but can you play them? Is there no Christmas music available on I-Tunes for download?

Awesome like a hot dog. That is actually a running joke at my job – whenever Dermot sees me, he puts on his best American accent and goes, “Awesome!”

I would ask for my christmas CDs, but if it takes them a week to get here, I’m not sure that it would be worth it. I don’t think I can get the SFGC on itunes, but I’ll check the next time I’m at Kristl’s. Luckily I’m going to her concert tomorrow, which is…. A Ceremony of Carols! (Your favorite, I know). Still – I need to hear some choral Xmas music.
