Zorbing in Rotorua

Kia Ora!

When in Rotorua, we decided to do a spot of Zorbing!

What is Zorbing??? I hear you ask, well here’s our attempt to explain the fun “sport” that is Zorbing.

First of all you need a Zorb, an air filled plastic ball, big enough to fit a couple of people in! Then you need a hill, from which to roll it down! Finally you need a couple of intrepid travellers, yours truly! And just for that extra bit of excitement, some hot water to make it a splashing time!

Yes proof that there was water inside too! See towel for reference!!! DSC_0032.JPG

Apologies this post is so short we will add more things soon..!!

    Hello there,

So Zorbing is the thing to do during Holy Week – the Kiwis think of everything!! It looks like a lot of fun – but didn’t you bang heads?

We are off to Port Douglas with Mam in seven weeks – can’t wait – but she is petrified she will see some of the spiders etc that you have been reporting about on your trip. Thanks!!

Hope you have a great Easter and glad to report it hasn’t rained since you guys left Sydney!!

Lads not sure where you’ve gotten to by now on the south island but this would be worth a look. Wanaka is about half way from the fox glacier to queenstown

btw don’t think you can get a drink this friday but the bars are open at midnight, you can drink to midnight on saturday, on sunday you can get a drink with a meal which gives you 2 and a half hours to drink and eat. Easter sunday sometimes goes by the name “Seven Dinners Sunday”

    Hi All,
Back on track..! we are in Queenstown, this place is bigger than we thought (after being last night in a town of 291 people..!!).
The landscape from Haast to Queenstown was absolutly stunning, beautiful Autumn colours (In Easter! 😉 ), yellow trees, and the mountains ..wow! for those who like to paint landscapes this is the place..!
    Anyway..
So what we were saying last night to you was:

    Agustin,

    Richie,
Thanks for give the link to your pals in Dublin, they seem to be very happy to have you back in there.
    Are you sad leaving Well??
We still have 15 days left before the big jump to South America.. we can’t believe it!!!

    Nadine,
I hope yous enjoy in Port Douglas, don’t forget the sandflies and mosquito’s repellent, we have a few here as well..
