OK- Oh my gosh- where to start- the Bootsnall community is amazing! I'm completely overwhelmed by the fantastico people that have come to this party- I've attended most of the airport runs to welcome the out of towners- like myself- Last night I went through a bit of a shy bit thinking - wow these peolpe are REEEALY famous! But you know what- they are just really "Phemominal" (spoken in the words of Mr. Phillip Blazdell). On to the Out Damn Park bit-

Today we went to the Portland Saturday Market. Hangovers were put on the shelf momentarilly in the name of a bit of opportunistic tourism. While we were there-I bought a really great hair clip made of the Ash from Mt. St. Hellens and proceeded to fill everyone full of bits of useless information about the city. Blessem' ...they seemed, at least, to humor me as I relayed in tourist book form tidbits about water fountains built for men, horses and dogs. I guess at the turn of the century the men thought themselves in good company indeed.

I was determined to find the "World's Smallest Certified City Park" Poor Socal girl, Court and Phillip- We must have passed the park at least 3 times to no avail- I guess in our still slightly altered state, 24 square inches of land and one small tree, was just a bit beyond our reach to locate. As Phillip was threatening that he would have to start drawing disability pay due to the fact that his fingers, had in fact, frozen off, I relented in the name of humanity that the park was not to be found. My soul aches at the thought, but alas, I suppose it is a good excuse to return to Portland on a royal quest. Thank you BootsnAll! Cheers and best wishes!
