I was planning to go from Hong Kong to Shantou in Guangzhou province on 25th March, but had forgotten it was the Easter holiday period. When I went to book a bus ticket at the China Travel Services in Tsim Sha Tsui, I was told all tickets to Shantou were sold out for that weekend.

Who am I? - My name's Lin Cher Siang, a 30+ male from Singapore.
Destination - The eastern coastal provinces of China.
The initial plan is to start from Hong Kong and make my way through the various provinces of Guangzhou, Fujian, Jiangxi, Anhui, Zhejiang and Jiangsu before returning to Singapore from Shanghai. That is the plan, but I'm flexible.
Period of travel - About 2 months, from later part of March till end May.
Why China? For experiencing its long history, rich culture, varied scenery, and different food at a reasonably affordable cost, where else but China?
