Until recently I was an investment banker, but in a fit of madness I decided to commit career kamikaze and quit my job to travel around the world taking in SE Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands and North America.

My travel companion is my equally irresponsible boyfriend, Jean-Pierre, who has promised to protect me from giant spiders and horrible loos.

I originally hail from Rugby, but I was fatally infected by the travel bug when I boarded a plane for the first time in my life and moved out to Hong Kong, aged sixteen. I came to realise that there was a whole world out there to explore. And now I'm going to see it; I look forward to sharing my highs and lows with you all.
