February 13, 2005Perito Moreno Glacier
Probably the most impressive sight so far. The glacier has an area the size of Buenos Aire & a height of 180m , just under half of which is above water. The face is 5km long. Huge icebergs continually break off & crash into the lake , sounding like canons & gun-shots so it is an audio experience as well. Absoluteley awesome !
