We are about to become a pair of (nearly) middle-aged travellers! Now in our early 50's we have decided to go and turn our dreams into reality. To leave security behind and experience the adventure of moving from place to place, travelling from country to country in the cheapest plausible way, before old age catches up with us! Hopefully, in this way we will come to gain a better appreciation of other countries and a better understanding of the world we live in, and in turn a deeper knowledge of ourselves.

Our journey will begin in South America and over the next 12 months we intend to travel to Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, then on to Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico and Cuba.
