March 24, 2005We're in Istanbul, not Constantinople now
We are out of Africa and are starting our tour of Turkey. After a long long long travel day: We left the Nairobi guest house at 9PM, travelled to the airport for a 00:45 flıght to Dubai. We spent over 8 hours in Dubai hanging at the airport and sleeping. We then picked up our flight to Istanbul which put us on the ground at about 5:30PM. We arrived at our Servas hostīs home at about 8PM. So, for a total of 24 hours of travel time with time zone changes. We were exhausted. But we are here and are looking forward to a great trip around Turkey. Comments
