Vaccines- don’t wanna get ’em, can’t live without ’em.
Hello all you fellow travel lovers, thrill seekers, dreamers, and explores. Mark and I have been talking about traveling the world together since we very first met. Well, all that talk has finally paid off with a little help from dedication, persistence, and good ol’ hard work. We are planning our trip around the world that will begin in February 2010! Otherwise known as 3 ½ months!!! So, we have started a blog (actually a couple) to keep a record of our journey, the things we see, people we meet, and for right now since we haven’t left yet, all of the boring stuff like visas and vaccines. Because lets be honest, nothing can happen without a little bit of planning right?
So, for our first planning post I am posting a spreadsheet I created for all the vaccines the CDC says to have when visiting certain counties-normally wouldn’t be a big deal, but with the number of places we are going started to get really overwhelming, really fast. So, I organized the info in a spreadsheet. Take a look-keep in mind, it is not comprehensive because we are not traveling to everyplace in the world. If you are looking for vaccine info about a country I did not list visit the CDC website where they have all the info you need.
Let me know what you think . . .a lot of shots huh? We got 3 each last week, we have a couple (I mean around 8-10) left to go. Not the most exciting thing about traveling.
Here is the link to the spreadsheet.
