"Internet sites allow you to spill it all to the world and but still stay anonymous"
The introduction to a article from the Sunday paper. The article talks about how its easy to unburden to a stranger on the internet. There sites out there (I have NOT been there yet! ) that are cyberconfessionals. People are unburdening their deepest darkest secrets in complete anonymity. The article talks more about the secrets that plague us, some silly some serious and having an outlet to pour them of of the system is good for some.
This article got me thinking.

I know nothing about the world of Stock Market. Well, that's not true I know a little more than the average Joe but not enough to be comfortable to do anything about it. Each time I get inspired to do something, make a little money with the little that I have. Investing is my opinion is not gambling but many disagree with me.
During the whole silicon valley boom I did'nt have money to invest so I never gained or lost. It was just not a option for me. Some brave souls borrowed against their credit and played the market, some gained while the other lost.
Today I was watching a show called Mad Money by Jim Cramer. Or its Joe.

When my friend Dan is around , all we do is watch the idiot box. Can't wait for him to leave for Zurich. Actually, I love his company and our mutual movie taste. Right now am in the "I don't want to think" category of movies. Perfect night for the friendly neighbourhood Spidy.
Spiderman, Superman modern heroes who embodied all the good we want to see in a mortal man. Do kids today still have any heroes. Who are the today's heroes?

This has happended to be couple of times now. I don't use the MUNI monthly pass because I usually walk the distance of 1 mile to and fro from my apartment most of the days. But, these days with the chilling cold ( yeah yeah its not Minnesota but this is cold for us!) I usually take the bus home.
You put in a $1.25 and you get a ticket or transfer as its called. I diligently put my money and take my transfer ticket. Yes sir! I do. I don't short change MUNI which is already having problems with budgets.

Just pouring out some pensive thoughts. Seems like more and more I'm back to the old habits. Days are passing by in daze. Work is so busy that I have no idea what is going on this world, haven't seen my friends in months and the only saving grace it at least I leave before dark so that mom does not get too worried. I wonder how my life looks from the outside. I bet when she is on the phone to my dad she must be saying...she goes to work, comes homes eat, sleeps and get back to work.

So today its Carrot Juice ( yummy) and Eadmae ( oh those lovely soy beans) for dinner.
Pathetic huh? Wanna hear something more sad...still have'nt picked up my dry cleaning.
Wish I made millions so that I could have somebody do this for me. Don't they have errand runners in the world. Am sure they do. But wonder is there is poor man's version of the Manhattan ones.

So life in general has been pretty hectic around work and have to say I'm not surprised at my self. I have made many promises to myself that I would not care and do only what was possible. Wrong! am back to my old habits of trying to do all in one day. So why is that we do that. The world is not going to come to an end. I ain't no brain surgeon so why am I always so worried about things. I think its a good and bad thing. Bad for me, good for my boss.

No No….don’t worry I was not. It just feels that way. So in preparation for my Kilimanjaro climb I’m keeping up with my training routine. Not! Now it will be couple more weeks before I get going with my walk and hikes again. I seem to be finding excuses but this one is genuine.
Dancing always is a good alternative to gym. Seriously it is. Especially Salsa...after a fun dancing session with my girl friends and one garnish male friend of a friend...I ended right smack on the sidewalk. Bruised and scraped my cheek tore my favorite pair of jeans and now both my shoulders are useless. It hurts like...can't find a simile.

Here I thought I was coming up with a new word but lo and behold it does exist. But does it mean what I think it should or does it mean something completely different. Last night after finishing a bottle of wine, some Thai food, I got into a very interesting conversation with a friend. We talked mainly about how one can bring about change back in India. What we learn in the classrooms in MBA school ..can it be applied in the real world. Is humanity spiraling downwards or are folks out there who are making a change at a grassroots level making a difference. But will this be enough. A part me say’s there should be a policy shift, a shift in paradigm of thinking, a change in world leadership or are these all naive principles which are rather idealist and its better to get to work where we can make a change.

I was thinking about what is that we call "traveling". Is this the actaul physical act of being on the road or is it more. Is it more about the journey of the thoughts we have. Their evolution, their search and constant battling with their own sounds. According to the dictionary "travel" is act of going one place to another. Strictly speaking they mean the act of going one place to another for a purpose, recreational, migration etc. But I like to think its more, it also searching for a new experience, travel mentally from one place to another. One thought to another.
