lauras bday
went out the other night for lauras birthday. it was a fantastic night. we had seen this resteraunt the day before when we were looking for the crazy golf so had gone in to inquire about prices, availibility etc. so the next night we set of looking as smart as we could with the few clothes we have. the place was immaculate with all the ladies that work there dressed in authentic thai costume and live music as we entered. The actuall main hall where we were to eat was huge with a stage down one side and a small stage area in the middle. all the tables were the traditional thai tables that are low to the ground with cushions on the floor. they were actuall in holes so you could sit like you were on a chair if you werent used to sitting cross legged this was a fantastic idea to make it still look traditional. the meal was 13 ish different dishes in small pots in front of us that they kept refilling, the food was amazing. as we ate there was was traditional live music and dancers on both the stages. after feeling extremmly posh banqueting in this massive hall we went to roof top bar and heavens beach, one of my favourite bars with sand on the floor, and all got extremmly drunk. a fantastic end to the evening i think!
since then we havent done much ive been trying to rent a motar bike to do my tour of the hill tribes that i want to do but it all seems a bit too expensive so still serching around. my tour will take me back to pai but i dont mind cause hopefully i will be ablee to get my tattoo this time. lsast time the guy had come down to chang mai for the festival so didnt have time.
rup and laura left this morn so its def time for me to leave this city and move on but the is a ‘free party’ night called vinyl vandalism on on sat night so might just have to stick around for that!!!

yes i went to the party it was wicked. reminded me of free parties back home. and yes i did meet a guy from london …….i’ll email you my familly are reading this site as well!!! HE HEEEE!
