E-GAD!: Eccentric Gal and Dog! Bike Across America

No Spring Chicken, but...

Cassi, my dog, and I are casual, stay-at-home artist types. We raise Maine Coons and love our cats. One activity (besides walking) that we do together is bike. Or rather I pedal and she sniffs the air while riding in the cart with her ears blowing back. I am not a politically activated, involved or motivated kinda gal. However, when I lost one Maine Coon, due to liver failure from eating tainted pet food, I got the idea to ride with Cassi across the country to talk to folks in person. Cassi wanted to come because she lost her best buddy, too (see pic). Cassi and I are gathering funds and kicking off a cross country bike ride to raise awareness about pet food labling.
