Today, Adam and I went to see Charlene’s team play in the finals of their hockey season. She’s on the top team of that tier’s league and today’s game was very one-sided for final. The final score was 10-0 for Charlene’s team, the Ice Nomads. I planned to see one ever since she sent out a call for volunteers but they never actually needed me.
Charlene had a hand on every goal! Later in the game she went down a couple of times from a stick or elbow in the face. I guess you become a target when you are a top player. I look forward to seeing her play again next season.
