Last night Adam and I went to the preseason game against the Florida Panthers. It was pretty good watching because of all the excitement. The game ended 5 to 4. I thought we came out very strong in the first period with 2 goals. Then 10 sec into the second, Panthers scored and that seemed to wake them up. In the third there was a bit of fancy spins and dekes on our part; it looked good but did not result in a goal.
Even though I’m only a fairweather fan, it was a good time to sit by season ticket holders who chatted with each other during the breaks. The only drawback was a row of young guys and their loud joking and snorting. Also, there was one guy, who kept yelling at the top of his lungs, telling the players how to play the game. I can’t stand that. You can comment but not so loud that the people in the sections next to you are able to hear. Don’t you think?
