Wayfarer’s Chapel

Gorgeous glass chapel overlooking the Pacific ocean was built by Lloyd Wright, Frank Lloyd Wright’s son. It’s tiny (therefore the name chapel!) but takes your breath away.

Had some American tourists ask if I was Japanese while I walked up to the visitor’s centre. *me no speakie eng-rish* I guess there are a lot of Japanese tourists around… I think I’m going to wear my most Catholic Schoolgirl outfit tomorrow…

If you cn get here, I totally recommend it. The chapel is so beautiful, you can see everything since it’s mostly glass and there are giant trees surrounding the chapel too.

I had the worst sleep ever on that living room couch! The Ikea couch had sloped seating so that someone lying on it would always be sliding towards the backrest. I lifted the slipcover to find the cushions stained and dirty. I don’t know that it’s ever been cleaned!

I’ve asked Sam if I could sleep on the couch in his room from now on. It’s cushy, not sloped, and relatively clean in comparison!
