Woke up this morning Saturday morning to a gorgeous view of a blanket of white snow covering the dry pond in the backyard. The temperature was still close to zero so walking around outside was very appealing to me. I don’t know if it’s because I haven’t seen snow in 2 years but there’s something about the first snowfall of the year that is very welcome to me, especially this one. If only Canadian winters would be this warm all through till spring, I think it would be a favourite season of mine.
Haven’t been to the Old Strathcona Farmer’s Market in a long while but I always enjoy myself when I go Saw lots of vendors dressed up for Halloween. It was fun, reminded me a bit of the markets in Australia but smaller. We need more fresh produce markets here!
That is one major thing I miss about grocery shopping in Melbourne/Adelaide.
Adam and I also went with Team Chiang to Montana’s to celebrate Dustin’s bday. We weren’t the only ones celebrating a birthday so Dustin knew that the coming embarrassment entailed a giant helmet with horns, singing staff, and free dessert.
