It’s just a few blocks that way…

Jim Morrison’s grave. I actually wasn’t sure what band he played in or anything but Bob wanted to see it so we took the train down and had a look.

It’s neat to see gravestones older than the oldest building from where you’re from! Edmonton’s only 100 years old.

Jim was pretty well hidden and was barred off to reduce erosion but there weren’t that many visitors, holiday you know!

Tried to find other famous graves, but after an hour, we moved on.

Eiffel Tower from Trocadero station is the best station to get off. You walk up to it from the north side through a museum and head south down the manicured gardens.

Walking up the stairs was not my bag. My feet are not yet used to the amount of walking I’m doing. Elevators inside every tower leg but still took 1.5 hours to go up

And, the crepe stand there makes the BEST ham and cheese crepes EVER! 🙂

I had an ex start this collection of Hard Rock shirts he got for me while he was working in Central Canada and now I feel I need to continue purchasing these overpriced shirts.

*segue!*BTW, anyone reading this (like there is anyone!) and goes to Athens, Greece, can you please buy me one! I couldn’t find one in Athens and then in the airport on our last day, 1 hour before take off I see a guy wearing one!!!*

We had an address, got off near the Sacre Coeur and started hunting for the street. We thought we were in the right part of the city since everyone we asked said that it was just a few more blocks, just a few more blocks… It took us the entire evening and covering half the city before we found the Hard Rock near the Arc de Triomphe! And after having “Sieu yeh”, we almost got stranded there since the trains actually stop running.
