So, yesterday and today I spent the day with 4 of the closest friends I’ve made on the trip so far and we all rented a car to go to milford sound because all the tour operators only offer day trips which means a total of 10 hours of driving in one day!!! It was a great road trip. Xavier, Obrie, and I were the drivers and Joci and Juuso were just passengers. The only hostel was more expensive than expected and there was nothing to do in the town (it only has a pop of 170) so we played pictionary and made the most luxurious meal on the trip! Roast with roasted veggies! We had the envy of every other person sitting in the dining hall! All eyes watched, heads turning, drool falling, eyes gleaming like they wanted to steal our food!
the Sound was a bit dissappointing only because the next morning there was a lot of cloud cover so the beauty of the valley was clouded.
