arrived and it’s winter!

so i just made a huge mistake. i slept for 45 minutes…and now i am feeling even more tired! tired, but very happy! it seems like i had just been here yesterday and everything is new but yet familiar. the flight was long but very good. no real delays, nice seat neighbours. one on the last flight was a bit to nice, he kept on giving me his elbow to comment on some landscape or just to share what was on his mind. nice guy but i was trying to sleep!

anyways, i got fetched from the airport, got a city tour of east london and met nice people. my little flatlet ist sweet and cozy.

but one can tell it’s winter here…in joburg in the mornig it was very foggy and -1 degrees celcius!crazy!
here it’s better, but now when the sun sets it gets cooler…hope i have packed the right clothes!

so i will write some more another ady because i am really quite tired. next thing is a meeting with mike (kind of like my boss) to see how it will all go. my first impression is positive. up to now i am the only one in the house as the other volunteers will be arriving later this week. feels a bit akward but it’s only the beginning.
stay safe and take care!

You get the point: stay where you are and enjoy! Hugs, Christa
