Ok Many Apologies
Ok sorry everyone, after I left Tokyo there was one spot for internet access and I just couldn’t get any time in on that computer to check my e-mail let alone update my blog. Since then? I have seen Meiji Jingo, or shrine, My friend Takako, Matsumoto Castle, the soba noodle festival in matsumoto, strange fashion, eccentric chefs, a fish market, Tuna auctions, KAMIKOCHI, monkeys, a snake today…the hida folk village…oh jebus christo…. I have four…no five days to catch up on in my journal because I just havent had time!!
Anyway I am standing in some info booth in Takayama and trying not to keel over from my BIG hike yesterday. I will ask the clerk here if he can tell me where a cybercafe is so I can sit down for a few hours and properly update my blog. To all my friends and family: I am having so much fun, wish you were here, and I love you all! I dont miss home yet though…I have a felling it will be a while 😉

Hey there mama,
Sorry it has been so long since I updated my blog. We were up in the mountains for five days and four nights…not a computer in sight! Anyway my group is made up of two british couples I would estimate in their mid 50s, an american couple in the same age range and I am guessing a sister? Dont know for sure. Anyway a younger couple, two middle aged single woman and a younger single woman. They are all very friendly and I have been talking with them a lot….and drinking with them a little 🙂 Don:t worry we have just had a little sake with dinners at ryokans and stuff. Anyway I liked the plane ride, aside from the shitty spacing between seats. I spent most of the flight with my knees by my ears ha ha…I sat next to a student from OSU actually…he was headed home for Singapore, changing planes in Narita. We spoke a little, not much. I spent most of the slight either trying to sleep or watching movies in the little screen in front of me. I didnt feel much nervousness or nasea at all. I am a good flyer I guess!
In regards to photos on the blog, as I type this I am having a woman here in Takayama burn me some CDs of my photos thus far. I dont know that i will have time to post them on the blog while I am here …but I will certainly post them whilst in Kyoto. Keep an eye on the blog I am going to try to get it as up to date as possible. You can post this e-mail on the blog if you want, because I dont have time considering how much journal catching up I have to do (five days). Anyway I will be seeing madoka probably tomorrow because that is the only day that they have to spend with me. Also please let me know if my glasses arrived…just want to know that they are safe and in hand. They would have come from Sears Robuck…I dont need them now, my other glasses are working fine!
Ok now I have to get to my blog…lots to write and hopefully pictures will follow shortly!
