Goodbye St. Pete, Hello Siberia
St. Petersburg has been great. But I am ready to board the train and take off across the continent. As often happens while traveling, some plans have changed. We’ve decided to board the train in Moscow and travel the entire length of the continent through Mongolia and China. We leave St. Petersburg on the night train and will begin the first leg of the Trans-Siberian route tomorrow. We will arrive in the middle of Siberia on Sunday (in three days) and will do some exploring there before heading on to Mongolia and eventually Beijing, China.
