Arrived to Kath in the afternoon and made my first two Nepali friends: one of them has even invited me to a Hindu wedding! Learned my first Nepali words... Too bad, I have to be in Pokhara in the evening... People stare at me a lot. They are curious and seeing me travelling alone, they come up to me and chat...as a result, I've just learned some more Nepali...Even tourists here are friendlier and more talkative than usual, mostly Asians and Europeans, haven't met any Americans yet, though. First time I see Mount Everest, from the plane but the Himalayan range is so beautiful. Kath is immensely larger than it looks like here: Comments

Genial hasta ahora...pero ha surgido un imprevisto...los Maoistas han declarado huelga general: no podemos ir a Kath el domingo. It's great hearing from u. Eventually, I met up my trekking buddies in Pokhara and everything has been just GREAT!
