flew on Royal Air Moroc from Marakesh, (not a bad little airport) to Frankfurt, Germany. Got the best price this way this seemed to be the cheapest way to get from Morocco to Europe. We are going to rent a car and drive though Germany, then on to Slovakia, We are driving though Austria, who knew you needed to buy a road tax sticker? but we did get one and put it on our window so we are ok with the law.
heading for marakesh for a few days and then on to Europe and my trip to Slovakia. Morocco is a very exotic place but worth the visit. Going to slovakia to look up my roots and viisit “cousins” will be in the eastern part of slovakia.
just finished a “travel map” made from my gps and google earth. it will play without installing goolgle earth on your computer. I think you need a fast connection for it to work properly. You can double click any of the photos as they show and be transported to the gallery. Also you can zoom in on the map. In the upper right you will see a small icon that says “map this” an you will be transported to the trips in the order taken. have fun.

in the high mountains again today. did a hike of over 1200 feet up to the top of the mountain. course was only about 4 miles long. but took a while to reach the top. Slovakia is great and cheap. good for and extended vacation. we are in the high mountains between slovakia and poland. the area was hit by a great wind a few years ago and the damage is still extensive. in a week we will post the pics of the stary smokovec area. the devistation is quite impressive. they are still removing debris.
just made a long post from slovakia and it went to never land,. well we are in slovakia met some cousins..stayed with them. the trip up from morrocco was not bad but will post pics when i get home because of computer problems here in slovakia.
