Egypt, Jordan

Sunday, February 8th, 2009

Going on a return trip to Egypt, this will be my third trip to Egypt, but it will  be the first to Jordan.  We are flying Air Egypt and will be leaving Feb. 18th.  So far all trip preps are going well,  I just got a GPS for my camera. It will be interesting to see how it works, so far on test trials it’s a great thing.  It records the position of the potograph and you can then view selected photos on google earth.  Great to follow the trip and to remember where a certain picture may have come from.  I also got one of the mini computers, (about a lb.) so if i run into hot spots, it will blog as i go on this trip.  We will see if it happens.  So far the trip is to Cairo, down to Luxor 4 days on the Nile, then down to Aswan with a flight to Ammon, Jordan and to Petra.
