I didn’t realize how much I missed the food

Back in the Ring of Fire
After Changsha’s ‘food as endurance test”, it’s a pleasure to eat this blend of tastes and textures. Spices used to tantalize, not torture … to enhance, not hide

I ate my first Indonesian meal in quite some time …traditional fried rice
and followed it with hotdogs the next day(sue me … I missed them in China)
We went out for goat chowder last night and had frog today
Hope everyone is well
Have my computer up and running, but as we have no internet yet I am in a Warnet(internet cafe) to send mail
All the best,Wayne,Emily and Wyatt

A c’mon Wayne, you must miss those hot red chilli peppers floating in oil !!
Say hi to Emily & Wyatt for me. Are you close to Grace & ChiChi? Same city? If so, say hello to them for me and give ChiChi & Wyatt a big hug from me!

    Hi Janice
    We’re in the same house
We rented a place last year for Grace,Jiji and Emily’s mom. So here we are together.
    How are you doing?
Oddly, I don’t miss the food, and especially not missed are the chili-laced inedibles(or was that the food?)
Changsha has some wonderful places to eat,but why does so much of the food taste like spicy paper?
