A trip to Taman Safari with the family
We visited Taman Safari, about an hour outside of Surabaya.
Taman Safari is a large drive-through zoo … much like African Lion Safari
The lions were amazing
The tigers were stunning
The bears were … sleepy
Wyatt and Jiji were very excited
The trip became a reflection of my time back in Indonesia.
As nice as the place is it is often inconvenient and I do feel trapped. You wait for things, especially rides. Taxis are ridiculously expensive and the flooding often renders roads impassable.
