Vaya con Dios
Hmmm…what to say here. I’m exhausted from running around and packing all day so I don’t really have the energy to whip up some overly dramatic send-off, complete with the standard quote from Robert Frost or Dr. Suess. But, it is crazy to think that this trip is actually about to happen. Luckily today I caught the last episode of PTI and the last two episodes of the Simpsons (en inglés) that I’ll likely be seeing for awhile. It’s already been 4 months since school’s been out…unbelievable. So I should probably wrap this thing up, lest I bore you with more mind-numbing ramblings. Next time I write to you, my friends, I will be far far away in a land where the beer flows like wine and the toilet water swirls counterclockwise.
Adios,
Adam
P.S. If you don’t get any of my references…my apologies, but I’m still gonna use them anyway

so today is the day. first of all, youre the only kid ever who will have a cell phone that functions more reliably once you leave the country. just make sure that you never pick up your phone when i call so that i know for sure that its you. speaking of unreliability, i called you at 10 last night to see you one last time but didnt get a call back until after midnight. so now i have to leave work early to go over your house, which i actually genuinely appreciate. i can tell you that its no fun working for the aforementioned “man,” but fortunately for me “the man” at my work is a bunch of jewish guys who know and like my father. its no wonder that your spanish isnt quite up to par - youve been taking classes at catonsville community college. you would have had better luck just working the grill at qdoba with all the mexicans. mas pollo por favor, rosen, mas pollo. i hope you have an awesome time and im sure you will. its just like baltimore - avoid going in the bad areas and try to stick around the jews and youll be fine. best of luck.
keep everyone updated,
seth
p.s. my parents say bon voyage, whatever that means. sorry, my spanish isnt as good as yours

Ad,
I’m going to miss you so much when you are in Argentina. This is the first time since 1st grade we’re away from each other for so long…I say first grade because that’s when I met you. Fort Garrison, Pikesville Middle, Pikesville High and Michigan…we’ve been through it all together. Please keep in touch!!
Adios,
Jodi (or as Senorita Beach would have said…Jacinta)

Damn not only did I not know that Seth knows how to use the internet, but add in the fact that he typed several witty sentences. Maybe he did learn a thing or two as an english major after all.
Rosen, do that shit up like none other. You will run that country, of that I am sure. If you need anything, I think Sortman knows a cop who knows a politician who knows Bush who knows Pablo Escobar who can hook you up. Well keep it going up here in the states for you. Drinking cheap, gross beer and keeping the American dream alive. I am proud to say that you are in fact the only one of us who has not sold out to the man and merged into coporate America (I can say that because Cory works 7 days a week and wont be able to see this webpage because his “Big Brother” I mean work wont let him access such non-business websites). Anyway keep in touch with all our asses and let us know your exploits. Im looking forward to some great stories being told at Brewer’s art upon your return (yes Ill make it down to Bmore some sunny day)

P.S. No KFC down here, and I´m told Wendy´s closed down - chalk one up for Ian´s snobby brie-eating ass! But, there is a TGIFrdiays (wtf) and a Hard Rock…so I just might have to see if they are playing the ESPN Sunday night game this Sunday.
