According to notorious political gossip queen Matt Drudge - the D.C. equivalent of the folks at gawker.com - the GOP has decided to shelve an anti-Democrat TV ad produced by David Zucker, of “Naked Gun” fame, and, more recently, the venerable “Scary Movie” series, 3-5.
There’s no Leslie Neilson in this production, but after watching the Will Ferrell-esque (think Reno Time) caricature of Madeline Albright scrub a wall in Osama’s cave, you’ll no doubt be asking yourself, “Shirley you can’t be serious?”

Who knew the Republican leadership had such a good sense of humor? I found it rather unoriginal when Dick Cheney articulated what Senator Patrick Leahy could do with himself in 2004. hey! i just came across your blog on this argentina expat site.
i just graduated university in may as well– and im moving in to buenos aires in may 2007 for no real reason except it sounds fun. i dont speak spanish at all so hopefully this isnt a disaster in the making. oh im sure it will be great! how is it there? are you happy that youve moved? where did you live? where do you recommend? has it been easy to meet people? finda job? etc?

Sol my dear friend…Lo siento mucho. I have no good excuse for slacking but, taking a page from our fine leaders in Washington, I’ll make one anyway: I’ve been working my culo off the past three months in basically two jobs.
