February 03, 2005My Itinerary
Well, I am now vaccinated against Hepatitis A and Typhoid thanks to the Portland Public Clinic. I have just a few more preparations to make before departing for Costa Rica. Here is my somewhat tentative itinerary for my trip: - Feb 15 - Arrive in San Jose, CR For at least six weeks, I will be fortunate enough to be living with Ticos (Costa Ricans) in their homes, where only Spanish is spoken. I have been working diligently on my Spanish in preparation for this immersion. My vocabulary is limited, but I have faith that broken sentences and smiles will get me by! If you want a detailed update of either of the formal programs that I will be attending during my time in Costa Rica, check out the websites and/or email me before the 10th of February. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy the updates as they come. Hasta luego! Comments
