Bali has tons of stuff. If I could buy it all up I probably would. On every street in every town even in the middle of absolutely no where there are shops selling everything from carved out coconuts to sarongs and fresh nuts. Its amazing how people put so much time into hand making all these things and then sell them for so cheap. Just imagine spending a week carving out one of those coconuts and then selling them somethign like $4.50 US each! I guess when you have to eat then you'll do anything for a buck. We haven't really bought anything yet except for the two sarongs we needed for the cremation ceremony but we try not to hammer the price down too much. Unless they're jerks. Then we make 'em earn every dime! Ok we're not really that bad. Sometimes we just wish we were when we find out that 60,000 Rp was 6 times the market value for a sarong!!

We'll take pics of the cool (and not so cool) things we find for cheap. Maybe it'll help you get a sense of what its like to wal down the street over here. There's no way to get pics of everything but if you can imagine it I'm sure they have it here. Or they'll make it for you!!

UPDATE #1:
Well, I've been slacking on the pics of STUFF. I did manage to catch this X-Rated pic of a fertility monkey! I think I just found Dad's B-day gift!

I did happen to find this amazing carving of the Buddha from a single piece of wood! How they did this is a mystery to me! Plus, it only cost $40 US! It had to have taken months to carve!! You can't really tell in the pic but this is amazingly 3-D and carved abotu 4 inches deep!
