Santorini Plans.
After Athens I wanted to visit Crete for several days, but my friends have dissuaded me from this idea, because it is very difficult to travel there without a car during winter period. Moreover many regular buses don’t run in winter. I also can’t hire a car because I don’t know how to drive. That is why I decided to go to Santorini. This is a very small island and its main point of interest is extinct volcano. It is said that this island is filled up with a lot of tourists in summer, but in February everything is falling asleep. Almost all the restaurants and hotels are closed. Even cats and dogs spend the winter with big difficulty.
Before visiting the island I’ve decided to lay down a programme what to see there. The only clear map that was found in the internet is the Santorini map.
There are no sights on the islands, so the best variant is to visit Santorini in summer to admire the sea.
