Tuk tuks Galore
I wrote a lot about tuk tuk’s when I was in Antigua, but I never did show ya any pics, did I?
This is one of those things (like to TD and other illnesses I picked up in Guate) that I thought I would experience for the first time in India or Thailand. Nope. Go Guatemala!!!
These photos are from Pana, but I didnt take any there. Pana is real walkable, and even when it was pouring down rain (daily), I was never far from a dry place or the hotel. In Antigua we took these after dark due to the prevelant tourist robbings, especially after dark (but certainly not only after dark). Sounds worse than it is, esp when you consider the crime rate in the US and how crimes are usually much more violent than anything I heard or experienced in Guate. Ugh, the point is how cute and fun tuk tuks are I swear!!!
