Trapped in Mexico
i had it all planned. today i went to agua azul waterfalls and it was amazing, absolutely amazing. i think they^re the nicest falls i´ve ever been able to swim in. it was soooooo refreshing. i´m finally hot again and loving it. went to misol-ha waterfalls too, nice, but not as impressive. also went to palenque. really cool (not the temperature though).
i was going to head back into guatemala to flores to go to the tikal ruins tomorrow morning, but i forgot to pay my tourist fee of $23.70 (super expensive) in san cristobal de las casas and now i can{t leave for another day because the driver can{t stop at a bank for me on the way to pay the darn fee. don{t know what i{m going to do here because i{ve already been to the ruins. well, i{m going to catch the colectivo now to stay in some jungle cabanas. talked to some folks from england who are staying over there and they said it{s really nice and relaxing. the town seems like there´s not much to do. was thinking about catching the overnight bus to tulum-11hrs away, but it{s $52 and i don{t want to pay that much. adios for now.
