There are a lot of central american tourists around since they have off this week. today when i was at the ruins a girl was taking a pic of her family on top of one of the temples and i offered to take one w/ her w/ her family and i did. then when she came back down to get the camera she asked me if she could take a pic of me w/ her family on the temple. i wasn’t sure if i heard her correctly and she repeated. i was like “um, ok” and climbed to the top to get the pic w/ her family. her dad put his arm around me and everything!!! it was strange, but since i’m taking pics of the people who live here, it was only fair for me to let someone take a pic of me. i guess they don’t get the opportunity to pose with a gringa very often. :)
