Where is Tony now? So, I have embarked on another journey. A journey that takes me across the Pacific Ocean to the “Land of the Rising Sun.” Umm….that would be Japan right? RIGHT!! Who knew I would end up here of all places. No, I don’t really speak Japanese nor did I take any Japanese classes in college so STOP asking haha!! What the heck am I doing here then? Ok, so I’m with the JET program and I’m an Assistant English Teacher (AET) teaching, you guessed it, “Americanese”!! This is my longest trip yet. I’ll be here for at least one year. This is an opportunity for me to document all my interesting experiences cultural or non-cultural and also, to share with my friends who want to expand their horizon and learn about a new culture or for those who are just plain curious and want to take a peek into my life, not that it’s that interesting! You can be the judge of that. For all my friends who say they’re living vicariously through me, this one’s for you!! Goodbye Los Angeles, Hello Ogawa !! Kanpai (cheers!)
