St. Louis…Round 2
Driving the 300 miles between Chicago and St. Louis seemed like a few miles as I averaged around 75mph through Illinois. It’s incredible how a 21 year old guy can be motivated by the opposite sex. Maybe if there was a similar effect with the job thing I’d stop traveling and be looking for work. I guess there is some correlation between having a job, making money and finding women, but I don’t want to think about that right now.
Once I got to St. Louis, I couldn’t believe that I had driven 300 miles to see Suz for only a few hours, I had requested I stay the evening because the drive wasn’t that short and my request was accepted by her parents. It was incredible seeing Suz after not seeing her for so long and we had a lot of fun together. It was really a lot of fun and even though she had work during the day and I went on a few walks through downtown St. Louis, it was so exciting seeing her on a regular basis. By the time I had to leave St. Louis I felt terrible because I wanted to see Suz all the time. The long-distance thing wasn’t the easiest for me, and having to say good-bye again was really challenging. The most important thing from my trip to St. Louis was that she was still interested in me, and both of us seemed happy to be together. That’s all the detail I can go into on my trip to St. Louis.
