Updated pics and unidentifiable food. English weather? No thanks.
I’ve added more pics and resized them for easier viewing. Don’t worry, the photos load very quickly now. Click on the following links to view:
Iceland, Russia, Mongolia and China.
To see recent pics of Taiwan just look at recent posts.
A quick weather comparison taken from the BBC website. Just to show you that it doesn’t only rain in England:

Morpeth, England weather forecast. Kind of typical really. Mid-April and temperatures still struggling to reach double figures.

Tainan, Taiwan weather forecast. How much rain? But when it’s not raining we do get some sun and just look at those temperatures! Always between 25-30 - Lovely!

So what do you fancy then? This is mission impossible when you first arrive in Taiwan. You can’t read anything and the food looks like it’s from another planet.

Again, what’s all this? I think I’ll go for the wood shavings on the left. Some of this is dried spicy/sweet squid which is, despite what you might first think, a delicious chewy fishy treat. I eat a lot of fresh BBQd spicy squid at the nightmarkets out here - lush!

Zi Ting at a fishing port in Bali near Taipei.

Also near Taipei the sea has carved these rocks into mushrooms. There are many curiously shaped rocks here.
Like this one. Known locally as the Queen. She is well fit. Or is it a queen in the gay-bloke sense?
This time last year I was being overcharged in Vietnam on the over-crowded transit van from Kontum to Quang Ngai.
